Help 16 Women Embark on a Life-Changing Empowerment Journey

This fall, Our Sisters Keeper will guide 16 extraordinary women—mothers, daughters, survivors, and emerging leaders—on a sacred journey to Washington, D.C., the heart of Black history and resilience.

Many of these women have never left California. Now, together, they will walk in the footsteps of ancestors who helped build this nation, reclaim their power, and boldly reimagine their futures.

 More than the nation’s capital, Washington, D.C. is sacred ground shaped by Black hands. Its streets hold stories of struggle, resilience, and triumph. For our sisters, it’s a mirror—a place to be seen, to remember, and to rise. 

Over five transformative days, participants will tour the 

National Museum of African American History and Culture, Howard University, the MLK Memorial, Black Lives Matter Plaza, and the Anacostia Community Museum. 

This is more than a trip—your gift will support an intentional experience of healing, empowerment, and spiritual restoration. Through guided journaling, reflection, and sisterhood, each woman will gain tools for self-empowerment, leadership, and intergenerational healing.
